Hi, my name is Hannah and I am a childless 36 year old in recovery. I live in Portland, OR with my adorable, but ever so needy, 10 year old Pit Bull/Dachshund named Carson. I have left many bar tabs open, but these days leaving it open has a much different meaning. Leaving it open means living life with an open mind, being open with my recovery, honoring my process, and honoring others process. I believe empathy, the willingness to listen, and seeing things from different perspectives are the most important characteristics in a human being.
I started my recovery journey on April 10th 2022. There have been some slips along the way, but I am only stronger because of them. This is my personal blog where I will be talking about my journey, harm reduction, issues in the recovery community, and whatever the wind blows! 💨
